The frog and the toad are amphibians that live both in water and on land.
The project is located in the heart of Brussels, in the Marais Wiels. The coexistence between frogs and humans happens thanks to a settlement in the center of the lake, protecting the shore.
The floating village is inhabited by frogs, toads, humans, and other species, living in harmony. It creates a peaceful community where cooperation and coexistence are valued. This comic illustrates the journey of a young woman who chose this rural lifestyle right in the center of Brussels.
She starts her day meditating in her bed, with a view of the fauna and flora present in the swamp. At breakfast, made with fruits and vegetables harvested from the gardens, she enjoys the song of the frogs and toads. After several days of rain, the water level has risen, giving Laura the opportunity to change the position of her house. She calls her friends, who live next door, to help her rotate the house.
That evening, she has appetizers with the neighbors. She takes the opportunity to pick some tomatoes and participate in gardening. To her surprise, she finds three small frogs enjoying the garden's pests.
Everyone gathers around a table set and decorated on the common deck to enjoy the sunset.
